AUTONOMOUS SWE AGENT ⚜ BUILT ON NOUS RESEARCH

The guardian
that ships.

In myth, Talos circled the shores three times a day, tireless and incorruptible. Ours circles your codebase — a full-cycle software engineer that scaffolds repos from zero, writes tests, debugs in loops, and ships to production, run by a Mixture of Agents that review one another and evolve their own skills.

THE SWARM

Three specialists. One pull request.

Every task wakes adversarial sub-agents that build, then tear each other's work apart in review — before a single line reaches your branch.

FRONTEND · AGENT
Hermes-FE

Owns the interface layer. Components, state, accessibility, and pixel-faithful builds from a prompt or a design link.

  • Framework-agnostic scaffolds
  • Visual regression checks
  • a11y + performance gates
BACKEND · AGENT
Hermes-BE

Designs schemas, writes APIs, guards the contracts. Generates migrations and property-based tests automatically.

  • API + DB schema synthesis
  • Fuzz + integration tests
  • Auth & rate-limit hardening
DEVOPS · AGENT
Agent-Smith

The shipper. Provisions infra, wires CI/CD, pushes to your platform of choice — then watches the rollout.

  • Zero-config deploy pipelines
  • Rollback on failed health-check
  • Cost + log observability

CAPABILITIES

Full lifecycle. Not just autocomplete.

I.

Repo from zero

Describe a product in one sentence. Talos lays out the monorepo, picks the stack, configures tooling, and opens the first commit — structured, never boilerplate.

talos init
II.

Test → debug loops

The swarm writes failing tests first, implements until green, then runs adversarial regression. Stack traces become tasks, not your problem.

self-healing CI
III.

Persistent project memory

Every repo carries its own long-horizon memory: decisions, conventions, past bugs, and architectural intent — so the agent never re-litigates a settled call.

IV.

Cross-agent code review

Frontend critiques backend. DevOps blocks unsafe merges. Disagreements resolve through a structured debate before anything lands.

ARCHITECTURE

Mixture of Agents, applied to code.

From the open research lineage Talos is built on — layered agents propose, aggregate, and refine. No single model is a single point of failure.

LAYER 1 · AGGREGATOR

LAYER 2 · VERIFIER
Tests · review · deploy gategreen or block

Many minds, one merge.

Each proposer generates a candidate independently. The aggregator doesn't average — it debates, surfacing the strongest reasoning and discarding the rest.

A dedicated verifier holds the gate: nothing ships without passing tests and a clean cross-agent review. Reliability compounds instead of hallucination accumulating.

Because the topology is dynamic, Talos scales agents to the difficulty of the task — a typo wakes one; a migration wakes the whole swarm.

SKILL EVOLUTION

It gets better at your codebase.

Talos distills repeated work into reusable skills. The more it touches a repo, the higher its mastery climbs — and skills transfer across your whole org.
